It is essentially a gel nail polish so you must cure with uv light. This is definitely a bit more involved than regular nail polish and working with gel can be a little tricky. I definitely recommend doing research beforehand and making sure it’s right for you. But if used, it definitely adds fortification to your nails!

Yeah I just went through this weekend and combined my half-empty peely base, long lasting base, and super glossy taco. The only one you can’t add thinner to is peely base since it’s water based. But when the bottle does get more than half empty, you will have to tilt the bottle to get the amount at the bottom. 1.

While I love supporting Cristine and peely base works great on my natural nails, it does not work as well when i have fake nails of any kind (polygel or plastic). It takes forever to dry on fake nails and is a lot harder to peel. Does anyone know of another brands peel off basecoat that works well with fake nails?

Depends on what I'm thinning. If I'm thinning top coat, I use Seche Vite Restore. If I'm thinning regular polish especially anything with glitter, I use OPI's thinner since it only contains butyl acetate and ethyl acetate.
